Industries the I-Elements
What is the I-Element?
The I-Element consists of all the industries and corporations in the world providing products and services. From the small business to large, global corporations, all I-Elements have a responsibility to the environment, especially those that deal with making products with waste material. Because of the differences in businesses, each I-Element has their own rules but must also follow government standards and rules. However, because governments have different standards and no world-wide standard exists, corporations all operate in various ways. Some care for the environment and have good policies while others take advantage of the situation.
I-Elements Role in the World
Industries are vital to the humans as all the products, food, and other items are produced by companies but are also some of the environments worst enemies. Many companies, manufacturers, and producers create material like mercury and carbon dioxide that is harmful to the environment. Some are careful with the release of harmful material while others could care less and think of only the bottom line, money. Usually governments set standards but not all companies will follow these standards. Then there are times where corporations win favor through unethical methods and are allowed to harm the environment. With companies all over the world, I-Elements can really do damage to the world.
Some I-Elements take the environment and energy conservation really seriously and this perception is growing. These companies know that money is important but there are ways to help the environment while still maintaining solid numbers. The really smart companies will use methods that conserve energy, minimize waste, and save money all at once. There are not enough of these I-Elements, especially in less industrialized nations.
I-Elements Helping/Harming the Environment
I-Elements can take many steps to help the environment. One method is to invest in solar panels to provide energy for buildings. This is a simple investment that bigger corporations can and should invest in. There is no reason not to.
I-Elements harm the environment more than they help it. Illegal logging and deforestation is an example that creates extreme damage to the environment. Even with government rules and safeguards the problem still exists.
